bus from Dali to Nujiang area?

 Joined: 2005-11-25 Points: 1 | Does anyone know if there is direct bus from Dali (or Xiaguan) to the Nujiang river area, such as Fugong? If so, how many hours is the ride? Schedule info? Thanks. |

I live in Xianggelila. My girlfriend said that you might need to "bao che" which is what it's called when you rent a driver and the car together for a day or somesuch. In order to find public transportation you might have to go to Kunming, but there might well be busses going from Xiaguan as well. Ask when you get to Dali and we'd love it if you'd report what you find out.
