The Old House Of Abu's main attraction seems to be the old man whose job it is to grin at tourists walking back and forth on the street and try to get them to come in to the house.
There are other old houses in the town if you're willing to explore just a bit more, and they won't be trying to charge you money.
Update: Apparently, from a sign recently erected on their roof, they now serve clay hotpot, and a few other things.

leave the ladies at homeold house, true, but not worth the visit. Abu is sweet enough, but he'll spend many, many minutes showing you pics of all the other tourists who were suckered in. he'll definitely try and make closer contact with the women out there, and will repeat the same thing about Mao's troops doing something there, which we weren't able to understand even knowing some mandarin. better to just wave from the street!
