Hi, I am planning to travel to Jinghong by river/ speedboat or cruise via Mekong river from Chan Sean, Thailand.I would love to stay few days in Ruili/vacation at Yunan and after enjoying water festival in Xishuanabbanna, would head on by train/road to Beijing.
I have three weeks time for the vacations and about to leave from Bangkok, between 1st April and stay back for the water festival in Xishuanbanna before head for Beijing.
Any tips and advice on accomodation, routes and travels and issues of interests is appreciated.
We just sent our first blog to this site, so I won't repeat what we put there....but we would love to know what you found out about the trip between jinghong and Chiang Saen...Cheers
