Apparently, the police station decided that these computers were no good because they were generic (as opposed to say Lenovo, the company that recently bought IBM's personal computer business). So a bunch of police just took their old generic computers home with them. |

I had to pay for mine, and it came from Dell in Xiamen. Unfortunately it still doesn't work yet. However, with the Dell computer, some engineer comes to fix it. With the "free" Police Station one that I'm aware of, I'm the one that ends up being called.
