In fact, while we're still shaking out any problems with this new feature, we don't have any quotas on storage space, so you can upload as many photos as you like! Uploading photos here is slightly different than uploading photos to other photo storage sites, because every photo is attached to a listing in our directory of places. This benefits you, the user of the site, in that if you go to a directory listing, you can see photos of that place immediately without any extra searching. Also, if you see a photo you like, you can find out more information about the place it came from, just by clicking on a link. To upload a photo, follow these 3 simple steps: 1) Search for the listing of the place where it was taken. For example, if your photo was taken at the "417 Cafe in Kunming," you'd search for the 417 cafe details page. 2) If the place has no listing yet, simply add it. It's easy! In our example above, you'd go to the Kunming page and click on "Add a listing in Kunming," and then add whatever information you know about the "417 Cafe." 3) Once you're on the directory listing details page for the right spot -- for example, you're looking at the "417 Cafe" page -- you just click on the link that says "Upload a photo of this place". If you have any questions or feedback about this new photo upload feature, please post a message on this, the "Cityguide Issues" forum, or you could reply to this thread. Thanks and enjoy! Wesley |
