To get to Nomad Homestay turn left out of the bus station and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Tuan Jie Road. Turn right at the very large blue sign pointing towards Gao Cheng Bin Guan. Cross the road and walk past the China Telecom and China Post buildings (on your left). When you reach the Pearl of the Grasslands monument turn left and cross over the road (the Gesar statue is on your right). Continue along this road and pass the sign for the Birthplace of the Seventh Dalai Lama (on your right).

Take the next right (immediately after crossing the river). This road is signposted Chengxihelu Bei2duan. Continue along this road (keeping the river on your right) and very soon (on your left) you'll see a large green and blue sign protruding from a wall with lots of red Chinese writing and the English words Nomad Homestay. (under 20 minutes)

Nine twin rooms: 60 yuan; One four-bed room: 100 yuan (more during the Horse Festival August 1 - 7 each year). Food is extra.
