Lurkers are common on most sites. There are many people who just like to view comments without saying anything themselves. That is their prerogative. It is not often an indictment on the site itself.
I'm Johnny from USA. Veteran educator in States & older guy. I've been talking with Yunnan College Business Management about position for Feb. 2008. This board seems like real nice folks to talk with and learn from. Nice meeting all of you.
I got offered a position at YCBM through a Beijing-based agency a few months ago, but I decided to stay in Chengdu for at least another year longer. I didn't actually get out to see the YCBM campus during the summer break as it was closed. However, from pictures, their website and other information, it looks good to me. In fact, if I were to move back to Kunming, I'd seriously consider a position at YCBM myself.
I am a native english speaker in the U.S. trying very hard to learn Chinese Mandarin on my own. Currently, I am using the Pimsleur Approach tapes and whatever I can find on the Internet until I can locate a Mandarin Tutor locally. My hope is that this forum might clear up some questions or help me find people with whom I can learn Mandarin. *smiles*
I am a girl from BJ !I can speak two language-English and Japanese.I am working in a Greek company now.Nice to see you!Everybody. If you have any trouble in BJ .You can ask me.
Work here prevents me from arriving for spring semester in Kunming. I'll be starting at YCBM in August 2008. It's nice to have a board like this to share thoughts, questions, experiences with others.
This is just a try in case somebody can help me find a Translator lady, any age, to work in a place called Ruian ,20 minutes drive from Wenzhou.Reasonably good Salary.
