Accomodation in LHASA

 Joined: 2006-02-18 Points: 2 | Please, does anyone know how much a bed will cost me in Lhasa?? I can't find any info on the net about this. Also, I am wondering how much a railway trip from Lhasa to Xi'ang will cost? What is the cheapest way to travel thorugh China? (I will be visiting Lhasa, Xi'an, Shanghai and last but not least Beijing)

The earliest estimate of the trains to Lhasa becoming available that I've heard was July, 2006. It sounds, from the few vague articles I've read that the initial service is going to be a luxurious (and expensive).

I guess I'll take the bus from Nepal to Lhasa then? Anyone got tips? Im going from india to Lhasa, and then up to Xi'an, Shanghai and Beijing... Any tips are welcome!

There are so many to choose from in Yangshuo.
If you arrive at the bus station, a tout will greet you. I paid Y60 per night for a double room with bath at the family owned:
