The area is home to a village called "Dongxi" which is home to a huge European-influenced mansion.

In another village called "Nan Xing Li" lives the "Nan Xing Xielou", which is leaning 2 meters to one side, and falling 2 more cm every year.

At "Jin Jiang Li", you can find the impressive "Ruishi Lou," built from 1922-1925 by a man who ran a bank and herbal medicine store in Hong Kong. Its neighbor is the "Shengfeng Lou". Both massive towers are ornately decorated.

It's possible to walk to these places, or you can take a motorbike from the bus to the smaller villages.
