Hello,

 My name is Ward Tipton and I am an American expatriate currently living in the Philippines. I have a friend who recently went to China and assures me I would feel quite at home in the Northeastern and North Central provinces. I am not really big on large cities as I have almost always lived in small towns but I hear there are some great opportunities for English speakers as well as English teachers so I am now looking. 

 I am a writer by trade though I do have some history teaching Adult-based ESL classes. This looked like a relatively active forum for both native Chinese people as well as expatriates so it seemed as good of a start as any. 

Mabuhay and perhaps we shall meet some day in China.
