The Bus Station moved in 2002 to the north end of town, at the north end of what is currently called #3 Road. The #1 local bus (1 yuan) terminates across the street from the station.

Bus schedules are often subject to change, particularly during the winter when roads can become so icy that they are impassable, or during spring festival, when some of the drivers aren't driving.

• To Kunming (~140-180 yuan) 12 hours leaving 9,11,13,14,17:30,18:30,19:30
• To Xiaguan (~42-65 yuan) 8 hours leaving every hour from 7:00am-8:00pm
• To Lijiang (~25 yuan) 4-5 hours leaving every hour from 7:00-16:00
• To Deqin (~30 yuan) 6 hours leaving at 7:20am, 8:20am, 9:20am and 12:00pm
• To Xiangcheng (9 hr.) leaving at 7:30am
• To Jinjiang (10 hr.) leaving at 3:30pm and 5pm
• To Sanba (~20 yuan) 5-6 hr leaving at 8:30am
