livejournal.com is blocked. facebook.com is not. Is facebook blocked in other parts of China?

I'm still in Canada so don't know about facebook just wondering if I will be able to use once in China. What's best way to keep in touch with folks at home, uploading both text and images ? I like the livejournal format.

even if a page is blocked u still can use it if you go via a proxy such as www.anonymouse.org or just google "proxy server"
