I didn't try their "hot pot" specialty because some other customers were eating it and it didn't look over-the-top appealing. We tried 2 vegetable dishes: a stir fried mushroom dish and a stir fried vegetable dish. Both were pretty good but not spectacular. My friend got a plate of fried "er quai" to go. Each dish was 5 yuan. Together with our two bowls of rice (5 yuan total) we had a decent meal for 15 yuan (plus the er quai take away for the dog)

I visited Monkey Jane's im August 2005. The rooms are 60 yuan per night.

The new owners took over in March 2005.The guesthouse is up an alley way. A little difficult to find, but the rooftop bar has splendid views.

Haku cafe,in the oldest building in the Lijiang ancient town, the 2 floors wood building was found before 1920s, and it is the oldest tea inn in Lijiang. In the cafe, you will enjoy not also the refined Yunnan local smaller bean coffee and local wine,but also the best naxi food, Chinese food and western food, and the price is just the 80% of the average price in the ancient town.
There are several computers for guests to browse internet, and you can use your laptop to access internet by the fastest wi-fi(wiless internet service) in the Haku cafe.

去丽江，如果喜欢安静的地方，可以去阿酷咖啡。
