The last couple weeks have been pretty cushy. Not working too hard and making more then my expected average. But the thing is I was getting bored. After 10 or so years at this I figured it was just a matter of time, the learning curve has to fade off some where. does it not?

Then late last week the forester came along and changed the rules of the contract. Skreeffing!. Not the dinner plate sized boot skreef, circa 1985, but enough to expose the planting medium. This adds about three more moves 3-5 seconds per tree. Might not sound like much but it adds up when your putting 7-12 trees a minuet into the ground.. Suddenly I have to bust my ass to make what I want to make. But the thing is I’m not bored any more. It has charged me up.

Now you can call me a sick puppy if you want, but in my mind it’s further proof that humans thrive on adversity
