青岛奥博维特国际青年旅舍/青年旅馆，坐落于市中心的天文台，隐藏在城市的喧嚣当中，被古老的历史建筑包围。旅舍位于观象山公园的核心区域，俯视整个青岛的景色，山势和缓,顶部平坦,花木葱宠,环境非常幽美。旅舍的建筑内放置着大型的天文望远镜，如果您有兴趣，可以通过它观测发生在天上的故事。旅舍门口的石屋内，为中国国家海拔原点，珠穆朗玛峰的高度亦由此测量。旅舍的周围遍布名人故居和历史建筑，文化氛围浓郁。

Located in the university/café area, just around the corner from the French Cafe. Huge selection of English books (as well as Chinese, French, Spanish, etc). Novels, guidebooks, bird books, plant books, magazines, newspapers, maps and Chinese study books as well. Also quite a few original edition books relating to early Yunnan travel.

Closed in 2005 or so, and the building has just been razed to the ground.

Closed at the end of 2006. Possible it might reopen, but not likely.

A good place.

If you sleep in this place, you will have fungus on your ass before you'll ever notice... Shower is as hot as the rain. Bacterias become your friends. Well if you like Biology it's the place to go!

For anybody who reads this site, we're from holiday and open from the Chinese New Year.
