i visisted this bar over a year ago now, and this morning as i put on
the t-shirt i bought there i realised i'd never left a comment on this
site as i'd promised! so here goes...this was quite simply one of the
most welcoming places i encountered when travelling through China. we
stumbled upon it desperate for a burger and a cold beer after weeks of
chinese food and warm beer, and were not disappointed. believe me,
however much you love chinese food, afer a while you just need a
burger...food and drink aside (they even have guinness!!!), the company

For anybody who reads this site, we're from holiday and open from the Chinese New Year.

This bar has closed in this winter.

Loved this place. Everything from the hospitality, to the Guinness, to the satellite tv. Philip and Hsiaoping can talk about anything: The Sopranos, the state of Education in the west, and, of course, Philips beloved Manchester United. The pool table is great, and the bathroom is, quite simply, the cleanest in China. If you are in Lijiang, duck your head in and say hello.

We ran into this place by incident and it was phantastic! The owners are very hospitable, helpful and always in the mood for a chat! Because they have been travelling a lot themselves, they can give travellers good advice as well. It's a good place to relax and feel at home. In addition, the food is very good and the toilets (yes, western) are wonderful and a relief after all the horrible ones we experienced in the rest of China!
