Tibet Autonomous Region is located int the southwest part of China. A land area of 1.22 million square kilometres. Population of 2.3 million. Ninety five per cent are Tibetan nationality. There are also 30 other nationalities in Tibet, (such as Han, Menba, Luoba, Hui, Mouggul, Naaxi) as well as Cheng & Sharba peoples. ...... Tibet is the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau proper, with an average elevation of 4,000 metres above the sea level. It is well-known as the "Roof of the World" and "The Third Pole of the Globe". Tibet remains one of the most interesting, remote & undeveloped parts
of the world. A trip to Tibet is not for the fainthearted.Travelling can be
 hard, adventurous and often unpredictable.
