I'm very glad to find this Website about China and Chinese. Recently, I found a good online Mandarin Chinese audio course in a podcast form: www.melnyks.com These lessons are aimed at the beginners, the sound quality is very good and the emphasis of these lessons is on pronunciation. Lesson transcripts and worksheets are also available for subscribed users. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn Mandarin from the Internet.

Here are some other Mandarin lessons. They have mp3's available which you can load into your iPod. But you can listen online for free as well.

I also checked out Chinesepod. Some of the stuff is free, but they do try to get you to upgrade to a paid membership.

I found this other site... the podcasts are totally free and so far I've downloaded over 200 plus lessons and they're adding more lessons ... you can go to http://chineselearnonline.com.
