Who We Are
The Canadian Consulate Chongqing and The Canada China Business Council, Chengdu Office (CCBC) have given their support and encouragement for the formation of a Canada Club of Sichuan, which is a proposed non-profit club organization that will bring Canadians residing in Sichuan, and their friends and associates together for networking, business, seminars, social and educational events.
The Canada Club of Sichuan
The Canada Club’s primary objective: is to promote friendship, introduce trade and investment opportunities and provide entertainment and social events for Canadians in Sichuan and their associates.

• Provides a forum in which the Canadian business community in Chengdu and Sichuan can identify and discuss common commercial and cultural issues in China;
• Works with Chinese organizations, governmental departments and the PRC business community on matters of mutual interests;
• Arranges social events of interest to the Canadian community in Sichuan; and
• Maintains relations with other social organizations and clubs from other countries.

The Canada Club will offer its members the following services and benefits:

• A comprehensive online members directory
• Advanced notice and access to many of the Canadian community events and local events organized by governmental, social, or business associations.
• Invitations and member rates to many of events, including seminars and business luncheons/dinner with visiting delegations or dignitaries.
• A comprehensive interactive website with posting access for registered members only to use for forums, advertising of services, information and other services.

Membership
Corporate Membership Canadian Companies having a regional representative in Sichuan, or foreign companies having substantial investment or operational interests held by Canadian legal entities or citizens.

Associate Membership Any foreign companies operating in Sichuan that do not otherwise qualify for Corporate Membership, as well as Chinese companies sponsored by any Corporate Membership in good standing.

Individual Membership Unemployed or self-employed Canadian Citizens and Landed Immigrants who reside in Sichuan; and friends from China and other countries who love Canada and have interest in networking with our Canadian community

Student Membership Any citizens or landed immigrants who are engaged in studying and teaching full-time in a Chinese university in Sichuan. Or any Chinese students who have applied or are planning to make application to a CanadianUniversity or who are participating in a China-based educational program run or sponsored by a Canadian educational institution.

As a membership driven organization, we collect membership fees, which allow us to manage the daily operation of the Club, hold events that assist our members in their endeavors in Sichuan, China.
