Review of Red Club by mojobboy (5), December 14, 2005
Red Club is a chilled out place in 1912. Very Chinese and very upincomming in Nanjing, China. Drinks are more on the pricey side which opens the clientle to a more posh environment. Check out this Friday 12/16 for the debut of hip-hopper DJ MoJo with some good tunes, mcing, and beatboxing. Peace.

Hello ,
I have just moved here from Seattle USA. I came to visit Kunming last Spet and fell in love with this place so I sold my house, quit my job, and now I am retired and living in Kunming.
I would like to meet some expats living here or at least find out where the best place I can go where expats hang out. ANy feedback would be appreciated.
This reminds me of the internet cafe user that died after not sleeping for 3 days.
A college dropout in Nanjing has spent the last 6 months in a Internet cafe sleeping, eating and playing World of Warcraft. The woman who delivers food to him no longer wants to get near him because of the smell.
Jellyfish 6ft wide and 450lb (200kg) are disrupting fishing in the sea of Japan.
In the meantime locals are making the best of it — rather than just complaining about jellyfish they are eating them.
Jellyfish are an unusual ingredient of Japanese cuisine but are much more prized in China. Coastal communities are doing their best to promote jellyfish as a novelty food, sold dried and salted.
I am a foreign English Teacher. I would like to relocate in a small city in Yunnan with dry, cool summers and warm winters. I am planning to go there during the spring festival and would need a Chinese guide. I also would appreciate any suggestions and tips of your favorite place to visit.
Following that attempt, Yantang sent civilian officials to the village to persuade the peasants to give up their allegations of wrongdoing in the interests of stability. At the same time, the two dead men's families were paid compensation, $21,250 for Deng Silong's family and $22,500 for Deng Jianlan's.
The washington post seems to be covering peasant unrest in China quite a lot recently.
You've probably already seen engrish.com, dedicated to manglings of the English language on shirts, signs, and products. There's now a site dedicated to the manglings of chinese characters which happens on tattoos. Probably most humorous to those that know what the characters were supposed to look like.
