i have a friend,her name is susan. susan has a very lovely restaurant where i can find delicious pizza and other food. so i often go to her restaurant to have meals.

susan used to look after the kids in the orphanage. she loves the kids so much. in fact, susan has a quite nice job before, but she decided to raise a mortgage on her house. so she opened this restaurant. many people could not understand why she did that,they think she must be crazy.

susan said to me: she would create a stage and give all the orphans a bright start. now her chefs give trainings to a teenager from the orphanage. this boy will have a 3 monthes study in susan's kitchen. after that,susan will keep this boy or send him to other cafe bar or restaurant. she will let the boy to step into this society by himself with all the confidence and bravery.  

The apartment has three-bedroom, two living room,one bathroom and one kichen. It is around 100 square meter large and in a new building with elevator located in the downtown area of Chengdu, neighboring with Sichuan University and Wangjiang Park. The environment is nice with river view. Newly renovated and fully furnitured with all the electronic appliances. The monthly rate is 1650 RMB.

The Ancient City of Shu (Chengdu)

Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, is the cultural, industrial, and transport hub at the heart of a massive, fertile, agricultural plain in southwestern China. The history of Chengdu spans more than 3000 years dating back to the Shu Kingdom. The Shu culture has revealed itself in the stunning and mysterious archeological discoveries of San Xing Dui and the Jin Sha Ruins, as well as the artistry of ancient Shu brocade. The copper bronze masks discovered in Guang Han, just outside Chengdu and on display at the San Xing Dui Museum, remain until this day, one of the world’s most profound mysteries.

ELECTRONIC LOUNGE APRIL 2006

After being busy doing a dozen other parties in the past months like Bass in your Face, Sweet Tongue and many one-off gigs in Chengdu and other cities, DJ Joe's Electronic Lounge is finally back. This time performing together with Mc Douglas in Chengdu's first French Cafe "Le Cafe Panam(e)".
DJ Joe will present a completely new set still with the focus on drum'n'bass and IDM, but also emerging the two styles with dub.
